Fengshui and Toilet Bowl

The following is a few Fengshui tips on the toilet bowl in your space.

1. Clean your toilet regularly.

2. Never position your bed in such a way that it can overlook the toilet bowl. Foul odour and water vapour that is rushing towards the direction of your bed would bring forth ill health and bad luck.

3. Keep the toilet bowl lid closed when not in use. This helps to control the 'impure' energy from escaping into the environment.

4. The toilet bowl itself should not be facing the bathroom door directly.

5. If the toilet bowl is located in the southwest sector of your space, your love luck will be badly affected. To overcome this problem, hang a five-rod wind chime above the toilet bowl. Place a mirror on the outside of the toilet door will also to neutralize the negative effect.

6. On another hand, if your toilet is located in the southeast sector, place a small round mirror directly above the toilet bowl on the ceiling to reflect water flushing to symbolize “fountain gushing” energy.

7. If the toilet is located in the center of the house (the prosperity part), place a full-length mirror on the bathroom. The mirror will help deflect chi and also create an illusion of the toilet not being there.

8. Keep a bowl of pebbles or fresh flower arrangement on the toilet tank or on a shelf above the toilet. Both pebbles and fresh flower stimulate the earth element, they help you to control the water and counteract opportunity and prosperity from being flushed away by your toilet bowl.

9. Repair your toilet bowl immediately if it is found faulty (or leak).

10. Don’t buy a unit with the front door facing a toilet.
