Fengshui and important direction in your home office

To enjoy a better work-life balance,alots of people nowadays work from home and make part of their house into home office. The following are a few Fengshui tips on the important direction in a home office.


·South area (Fame and Reputation), like I mention earlier it’s Fengshui energy fire , so avoid having color blue , big mirrors , fountains or images of water in this area, as the water element may puts down the Fire energy.


·North area (Career or Path in Life). The Fengshui element for this direction is Water. To strengthen your career one can place inspiring images related to your career in white /black frame colors in this area of your home office.


·Southeast area (Prosperity and Abundance). As the Fengshui element for this direction is Wood avoid Fire and Metal images here. Places images that bring you wealth and abundance in this area.

Fengshui and Fountain




Please consider the interplay of the five Fengshui 5 elements or seek your teacher for advice before having a fountain at home. The following are a few points to note noted before placing them in the house.


·Never put a water feature in your bedroom, regardless which Fengshui area of your house room is located. We believes that the water element attract worry into the resting place of the owner


·In Fengshui, South is connected to one fame and reputation and the energy to maintain it “Chi” is fire. Therefore it’s not advisable to place a water feature in the South area, as the water element may kill the Fire element


·Always keep the fountain clean.


· Using natural crystals or stones to strengthen your fountain energy benefits

Fengshui and Main door



In FengShui, main door of the house is also known as the 'Mouth of Chi'. The house absorbs energy or Chi through the main door. Therefore it is important for you to where to fix and choose the type of door for your main entrance. The following is few of the points you have to take note,


1. Main door must be solid and protective (fire proof)
2. Main door should open inwards and ideally have 2 leaves
3. Main door should open into an open space
4. Main door should look out to an open space ( with greenery)
5. Main door should not be under a toilet/bathroom
6. Main door should face one of fortunate directions of the house owners’
7. Main door should try to avoid facing a stair case and toilet
8. For landed houses main door should have a protective roof
